Photoodles – 3

A Retrospective

The definition of “retrospective” comes up as “an exhibition or compilation showing the development of the work of a particular artist over a period of time.” Way, way, too haughty and formal for “photoodle art”. “Photoodle” comes from “Photography” and “doodle”. Doodling is certainly not something serious. Since I coined the term just a few days ago I can’t really present a retrospective of photoodles, so I picked some of my cafe art. That is just as lighthearted, maybe a tad more intentional at times, but I have been at it for years. So here is a collection, not really representative or complete, of some of my favorite cafe art pieces.

In posts to come I will pick some of these and explain the techniques, tools, and methods to help my viewers and readers on their own journey into photoodling.

In coming posts I will describe the history and tools for making some of these pieces.
